Madre Terra is a family-owned online home store for everyday essentials — consciously chosen with the planet in mind.

Founded by Suzy Scarpa, Madre Terra is inspired by her ancestors — born from a connection to family.

Growing up, she learnt by watching her Italian parents and grandparents. The way they would nourish their bodies from the earth, consume what they had, repair rather than replace, and rarely (if ever) discard.

It was a time when there was minimal waste and no reliance on single-use plastic.They lived in a way that was conscious, intentional and kind to our Madre Terra.

Today, Madre Terra brings these past lessons forward to inspire you — the conscious consumer — to live in a way that’s aligned with our earth and reduces single-use plastic in your daily routine.

Because if we come together, perhaps we can inspire future generations, too.

Meet our founder, Suzy Scarpa

Growing up in Australia to migrant parents, I became accustomed to how my family would use what was available to them to create a healthy lifestyle — all while looking after our Madre Terra along the way. We’d regularly gather with friends and family, where sustainable tools and practices were the norm.

This upbringing shaped the person I am today — a lover of yoga, natural therapies and intentional living.

So, it’s no surprise that I landed here, the founder and owner of Madre Terra.

It’s my goal to create everyday products, for everyday people, with an earth-loving twist.

Above all else, I’m here to create an environment where we share our decisions, hardships and wins. A place where voices can be heard and action can be taken to shape our shared future.
